John Carl

John is the Portal Conductor of the Case of the Week station.

He is the Founder and President of the Retirement Learning Center, a founding lecturer for The Retirement Advisor University (TRAU) and Executive Director of the PLANSPONSOR Institute. John is a highly sought after industry insider who travels the country educating groups of financial professionals on the very latest in retirement legislation, forecasts and developments affecting the industry.

John’s extensive industry experience includes running Alliance Capital’s DC initiative (including creating and running Rhode Island’s 529 savings plan) and directing Global Product Management for the firm. He has also been a branch and regional sales manager for Prudential Securities and an independent financial advisor.

In 2012, 401kWire named John as one of the most influential individuals in the 401(k) industry for the sixth consecutive year. He released his first book in 2009, Retirement Resource Guide: Essential ERISA Education & Best Practices for Financial Advisors.
