NAPA Welcomes D’Aiutolo as President

The National Association of Plan Advisors welcomed Paul D’Aiutolo as its 2017-2018 President at the opening session of the 2017 NAPA 401(k) Summit in Las Vegas March 19.

An industry veteran since 1993, D’Aiutolo is the founding principal and lead consultant of the D’Aiutolo Institutional Consulting Team in Rochester, NY. The firm is a member of UBS’s Institutional Consulting and DC Advisory Groups, boutique consulting firms within UBS whose specialty is providing fiduciary services. It provides comprehensive consulting services to ERISA plans, including serving as an ERISA 3(21) fiduciary for investment advice. With locations in Rochester, Buffalo, NY and Boston, MA, the firm serves more than 115 ERISA clients encompassing more than $1.2 billion in retirement plan assets.

D’Aiutolo acknowledged the contributions and accomplishments of Sam Brandwein, NAPA’s 2016-2017 President, presenting his predecessor with a special award thanking him for for guiding the organization through its fifth year of unprecedented growth and success.

Other changes on the NAPA Leadership Council for 2017-2018 include:


  • former Vice President Jeff Acheson, CPFA, Corporate and Endowment Solutions, Powell, Ohio, is this year’s President-elect;

  • Jania Stout, Fiduciary Plan Advisors at Hightower, Baltimore, MD, is this year’s Vice President; and

  • Brandwein replaces 2015-2016 NAPA President Joseph F. DeNoyior, as ex officio member.
