TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys… In Virginia, Josh Morgan, 30, a former NFL wide receiver, was cleaning a gun when it accidentally went off… shooting himself… so what could be worse? In Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, parking was apparently at a premium for the city’s annual Winterfest… leading a number of patrons to park on the ice of Lake Geneva…. Well, for a while, anyway… In Victoria, British Columbia, an unnamed woman rammed into a police car here… no, alcohol was not involved…but it does appear to be a case of distracted driving… as evidenced by the text message police found on her phone… In Merseyside, UK, Steve Johnson, 40, a convicted drug dealer, fled to Spain… and bragged, “Catch me if you can” after to police back home via social media… and so they did… guess how? In Batavia, Illinois, an as-yet-unnamed individual went behind the curtain of a cash-operated photo booth at Funway Amusements, an indoor amusement park… and pried open the cash drawer… getting away with about $75, while causing about $75 in damage to the machine… which, by the way, was a photo booth… And finally, Charles E. Robinson, 50, was pulled over by state troopers for speeding at around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday… Charles was travelling about 100 mph when he was pulled over… but you’ll never guess where he told the officer he was going in such a hurry… and in fairness, he was pretty far away from his stated destination… Have a great weekend, folks — particularly those of you (like us) who have a three-day weekend!
