TGI... Thanksgiving!

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Yokohama, Japan, Shogo Takeda, 24, came in for a job interview… He didn’t get the job… but, fortunately for the prospective employer, he left his contact details, including his address and phone number… because it’s not like he left empty-handed

In Revere, Massachusetts, an unnamed 25-year-old was involved in an accident… that became a hit-and-run accident when the aforementioned 25-year-old drove away… As it turned out, he didn’t get far… because he was involved in another accident… Well, sort of…

In Clifton, UK, an unnamed postal patron apparently wanted to mail a cake… This is not the way to do it

In Lino Lakes, Minnesota, Elizabeth L. Lundberg, 32 (she turned 33 while in jail), was arrested after she rammed into not one, but two, vehicles stopped at a traffic signal here… Yes, alcohol was involved… but her reason for drinking so much was a bit unusual…

In Spartanburg, South Carolina, a pair of men, described as wearing “red sweatshirts and red sneakers and had nose rings” was spotted hanging out near a yoga pants display… and then putting “multiple” pairs of yoga pants in their shopping bags before fleeing the Bed, Bath & Beyond store here without paying... But they shouldn’t be hard to find

And finally, in Boston, Massachusetts, the FBI is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the capture of a man who has targeted four banks in the area… He’s become known as “The Spelling Bee Bandit”… for reasons one would hope he’s not proud of…

And Because It’s Thanksgiving!

Every Thanksgiving, Americans gather to celebrate family, give thanks, and stuff our faces until we all feel sick. Tragically, filling up too fast on a good holiday meal means you won’t manage to grab seconds or thirds of all the best dishes on the table. You need to maximize your food intake; here’s how.

Butterball maintains a hotline to help folks with any turkey-related emergency… But then, they have also compiled a list of some of the crazier calls they have received over the years. Here are eight of the most memorable – and the answers!

And finally, as you make preparations for Thanksgiving, an excerpt from what may well be the funniest TV episode ever about the holiday:

This, however, is a close second:

Have a great Thanksgiving – and for many of you, a long weekend, folks! See you back here on Monday!
