Weigh in on Deflationgate!

The Super Bowl looms — and yet it seems that all anyone is talking about is — deflationgate!

Now, you may be in the camp that believes that the inflation level of footballs makes no real difference (at least not in the outcome of the AFC championship game). Or you may feel that rules are rules, and having 11 of 12 footballs weighing in at two pounds per square inch less than the minimum 12.5 pounds per square inch falls well outside the realm of accidental or coincidental, and requires redress.

Or you may be in the camp that thinks the focus on the proper inflation level of footballs is silly, or at least a non-issue.

Regardless of what, if anything, may (or may not) happen — this is your chance to weigh in on what you think SHOULD happen.

It may not change the outcome — but you’ll feel better for having voted. Or add your own suggestion — and let the rest of us vote on it!

“What do you think should happen as a consequence of ‘deflationgate?’”

Weigh in at http://ideas.asppa.org/deflationgate.

How it Works

You’ll be given two options from which to choose — pick one, or add one of your own choosing to the poll. Can’t decide between the lesser of two evils (or goods?) There’s an option for that as well. Then you’ll get two more to vote on, and so on. Vote as often as you’d like — and you can also check in and see which ideas are topping the list.

And while we’ve given you a list to start with, feel free to add your own (or post them in the comments below, and we’ll do that for you)! We’ll post the results on Friday (Sunday is the Super Bowl, after all).
