Are You Stressed?

Industry Trends and Research

The headlines are full of the toll on productivity, health, and even wealth taken by stress, both inside and external to the workplace. This week, we’d like to know – are you stressed?

A recent MetLife survey found that three of employees’ top five financial concerns relate directly to retirement, even among those who are relatively confident in their finances. John Hancock’s fifth annual Financial Stress Survey of 1,352 retirement plan participants found that a majority of workers (69%) are stressed over their finances, costing companies an estimated $2,000 per employee, and that 76% of respondents cited a lack of retirement savings as a leading factor affecting their stress.

That’s one of the primary ROI motivators behind the growing emphasis on financial wellness, of course. But while financial stress can certainly take a significant toll, we all know that even the most idyllic existence must contend with stress of some kind from time to time.

This week, we’d like to know if you’re stressed – if so, more or less than a year ago – and why.

Respond to this week’s NAPA-Net Reader Poll at  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/M7WCGVS.

Don’t stress! We’ll have it all sorted out for you by Friday!
