Harrington to Lead Pentegra’s Strategic and Business Development Efforts

Retirement plan and fiduciary outsourcing provider Pentegra announced Nov. 16 that Bruce D. Harrington has joined the organization as Vice President, Strategic Development.

Harrington will direct Pentegra’s strategic and business development efforts and will report directly to Matthew P. Mintzer, Executive Vice President, according to the announcement.  

“Bruce is an exceptional leader. His impressive skills and industry expertise are the perfect complement to Pentegra’s culture and leadership team as we continue to grow,” stated Mintzer. “We are fortunate to have someone of Bruce’s caliber and depth lead our strategic development initiatives.”

Prior to joining Pentegra, Harrington worked as an industry consultant, where he led various distribution projects and business development initiatives in the financial services industry encompassing strategy, sales, marketing, business modeling and product development.

His previous senior leadership roles include: Vice President, Head of Sales and Business Development, John Hancock Financial Network; Senior Vice President, Retirement Solutions, LPL Financial; Managing Director, Cogent Research; Vice President, Product Development, MFS Investment Management; and Vice President, Senior Product Manager, Putnam Investments.
