A new online service allows financial advisors to gather detailed information about the growing number of career opportunities throughout the industry. The “Career Center,” launched Dec. 3 by InvestmentNews, contains information on hundreds of broker-dealers and custodians, as well as individual broker-dealer branches and registered investment advisory firms. It’s intended to give advisors the ability to learn more about a range of industry opportunities, including going independent, transitioning to a wirehouse, or joining an existing RIA.
Advisors can use the Career Center to evaluate opportunities within the financial advisory industry based on their specific needs, ranging from the type of firm they are seeking to the clearing firm they would like to use. The system then allows them to anonymously connect with advisors through InvestmentNews’ Advisor Center.
