TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek — a very special one with the NAPA 401(k) Summit… and yet, just look at what (still) happened to these guys and gals…

First, some odds and ends…

Now HERE’S the kind of hard-hitting journalistic coverage you just don’t see any more…

From Summerville, South Carolina, Paul Slosar now owns the honor of the Guinness World Record for the longest mustache on a living person…so, how long is it? And how did he begin growing it?

In Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Metropolitan Council is looking for the rightful owner of something that unexpectedly made its way to the Rogers Wastewater Treatment Plant. It’s a VERY shiny object…

In Madawaska, Maine, a group of volunteers have claimed a world record in a category that few people know exists (perhaps there’s a reason)…

And now for the main “events”:

In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an as-yet-unnamed individual, walked into a Citizens Bank branch inside a ShopRite grocery store to make an “unauthorized” withdrawal… and yes, though he’s not yet been identified — he wore a mask… but not well…

In Wilmington, Delaware, Mark Tannen, 22, went to carjack a vehicle around 9 pm recently… which turned out to be the second bad decision he made that day…

In York County, Pennsylvania, Tony Saunders played a hand in one of the most bizarre headlines of…well, perhaps of all time…

In Germantown, Maryland, two unnamed teenagers went to carjack a car… but then had to flee on foot…guess why? And yes, we have video…

In Broad Top Township, Pennsylvania, Kelli Snyder, 36, entered a local Dollar Store…walked out without purchasing anything…but didn’t walk out empty-handed…thought it wasn’t exactly what you’d think of as a big haul, either…though it was enough (apparently) to constitute a felony…

And finally, in Crestview, Florida, Justin McCall, 28, was recently found guilty on multiple burglary charges…13 separate crimes in relation to a series of automobile burglaries that occurred between late October 2022 and early January 2023…including one in which he stole a firearm from an unsecured vehicle…then proceeded to burglarize another vehicle…with the stolen firearm in hand…at some point he “accidentally discharged the firearm and shot himself in the leg”…and so who did Justin turn to for assistance?

Have a GREAT Easter weekend, folks!  Thanks to all who were so gracious to me at the Summit this week — your support and kind words then, and over the years mean SO much!
