TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek – and yet, just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

First, some odds and ends…

In the UK, Northern Railway has made an unusual, but perhaps not unexpected, request of commuters…

In Eugene, Oregon, there’s a lot of excitement brewing regarding the new alternative name for the Eugene Emeralds…a team that last year won the Northwest League Championship for the second time in a row…and team officials have their eye on a third… but they’ve already got a big hit with their newly announced alternate identity…

In Summit County, Colorado, an unnamed driver in heavy snow and “whiteout conditions” slid off I-70 here one recent morning about 3 am…and wound up teetering over a 100-foot-high embankment…the driver felt that his “cargo” kept him from going off that embankment…

In Cape Coral, Florida, an unnamed man was spotted driving an unusual motorcycle adaptation…and yes, we have pictures…

And now for the main “events”:

In Yadkinville, North Carolina, Tyler Caudill, 17, was speeding (about 70 mph)…about 2:30 am…when he…lost control…hit a tree stump… drove on top of a homeowner's car that was parked in the driveway…and, landed on top of the house…and yes, we have pictures…

In New York City, New York, an unnamed Lexus driver was pulled over at the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge recently for some unpaid tolls… and you’ll never guess how much…

In Colorado Springs, Colorado, Letecia Stauch – on trial for murder – was warned by Judge Gregory Werner that she could lose her right to be in the courtroom for her trial if she continued doing….what

In Placer County, California, officials are struggling to explain how a car recently left the road…and crashed into a house…the second story of that house, that is… and yes, we have pictures…

Near Sicily, Italy – one heck of a floatation “device.”

In Charlotte, North Carolina, an unnamed 13-year-old was looking to commit a little larceny at the Thrill Zone at the Carowinds park near here…but he got caught…

And finally, in Cape Coral, Florida, Dylan Alexander Flore, 28, was the subject of an active arrest warrant by law enforcement…whose sister, when questioned by police, first said that she hadn’t seen Dylan in days…but then later commented that she had seen him enter the attic… police tried to get him to come down…without success…despite using pepper spray and a taser…but then… this

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
