TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek—and the beginning of a new year…but just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

A two-legged fox? No, that’s not a euphemism. And yes, we have pictures…

A grenade football? Yep.

In East Naples, Florida, mechanics at a local BMW car dealership were working on a routine oil change…at least until they got the car up the lift…and heard something out of the ordinary…

And now for the main “events”:

Near Puyallup, Washington, Matthew Greenwood, 32, and Jeremy Crahan, 40, wanted to rob a local business… on Christmas Day…and chose a really bizarre way to do so…

In North Caldwell, New Jersey as police approached a suspected stolen vehicle, the (unnamed) driver tried to flee…but lost control of the car…and drove off an embankment…falling into… what?  Fortunately, we have video…

In Southborough, Massachusetts, an unnamed individual, pursued by law enforcement after a break-in at Shoe Supply in nearby Worcester, led them on a 20-mile car chase that wound up with him driving his Mercedes over a “tire deflation device”…crashing into some woods, and then fleeing on foot… he was caught a short time later…but where is pretty unusual… as was the how…

In Lake Charles, Louisiana, Kenneth Hunt, 39, had been in jail since Nov. 1, 2022, on counts of theft, criminal damage to property, and criminal trespassing…but when those charges were dropped, he was released… but not for long…but not for the reason(s) you might think…

In Mmokalee, Florida, an unnamed pair of individuals grabbed some food from a store…but took a path home across an open field to save time…but that put them within reach of Jaihmereun Short, 18, and an unnamed accomplice who assaulted the pair…but who, without their groceries, managed to escape… however, when police arrived to investigate they found things that made it pretty easy to track down Jaihmereun…

In Tacoma, Washington, Ermenildo Castro, 28, was charged with stealing some $300,000 from his employer… with a scheme he claimed was inspired by the 90’s movie "Office Space"…and it didn’t have a thing to do with red staplers … or copiers…

And finally, in Johnson County, Iowa, Nicholas Bernard, 19, was driving his Honda Accord EX…driving it very fast as it turns out…120 mph, in fact… on an Iowa interstate…now, that turned out to be just the start of his problems…but his response as to why he was driving that fast… was a classic!

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
