In Corbin, Kentucky, Michael Schlemmer, was driving on fumes…coasted into a Convenient Food Mart here… with $40 in his pocket…bought $20 worth of gas…and a $20 lottery ticket… guess what?
In Idaho, serial Guinness World Record holder David Rush may have added one more to his resume… which is a sad testament to the things people will do to attain such “notoriety”…

And now for the main “events”:
In Freetown, Massachusetts, Peter Vasconcellos, 56, has been charged with operating a vehicle after license revoked, operating a vehicle with revoked registration, and uninsured operation…but he’s been arrested in connection with traffic disruptions he caused over a period of three weeks… by doing this?
In Ocala, Florida, Daniel Dinkins threw a brick through the window of a home here earlier this month…but he had a reason… well, sort of…
In Boston, Massachusetts, Ali Jaafar, 63, and his son Yousef Jaafar, 29, have been sentenced to prison terms and ordered to pay over $6 million in restitution…oh, and forfeit their profits from the scheme that allowed them to claim more than $20 million in lottery winnings…how did they do that?
And finally, in Polk County, Florida, an unnamed 46-year-old woman is now facing 3 misdemeanors and a whopping 35 felonies (with more possible, according to police)…and charged with stealing… bed sheets, blue jeans, toiletries, camouflage wading boots, “several packages of frozen venison and a bottle of wine”…but what’s really weird is the vehicle she was driving when arrested…and what she was wearing at the time…
