TGIF…No, Really.

TGIF

Well, here we are again at the end of yet another workweek—and just look at what happened to these guys and gals…

The world’s worst…or at least most energetic…bowler?

In Sydney Australia, the University of South Australia has admitted that “Ahit Happens”… and you can see (and appreciate) the origin of that sentiment…

Consider this public service announcement from the National Park Service…words to live by…

Here’s a list of vanity plate requests rejected by the state of Missouri in 2022 (warning, there’s a reason these were rejected) …

In Chicago, Illinois, they’re having a special naming contest…

“Creature 'straight outta the depths of hell' found on Crystal Beach, Texas. And yes, we have pictures…

In Columbia, Pennsylvania, believe it or not, everyone walked away from this …

And now for the main “events”:

In Bellevue, Tennessee, John Edwin Harris, 53, had had too much to drink…the good news is, he turned to a designated driver…the bad news? His choice of designated driver

In Breezewood, Pennsylvania, Sauiqi Wang, 30 (accompanied by) had called 911…said there were people in his car with mari.juana…and he wanted them to get out…but they refused…when police arrived, they found Jiaming Yang, 29 and Dehuo Yu, 29…standing near duffel bags in the parking lot…the duo gave police permission to search those bags… and, sure enough, found mari.juana in vacuum-sealed bags…and then behind a nearby dumpster they found…

In Miami, Florida, Patrick Abbott, 31, went to hold up a local Publix…handing a worker a note…written on a receipt that said, “read carefully. I have a gun with me and put the money in the bag”… turns out that while he might have considered it a weapon, it surely wasn’t a gun…

And finally, in Morgan County, Georgia, Markus Rashad Tull, 28, was arrested at the local Walmart….after he was accused of “skip scanning” some 24 items in the self-checkout lane…but then a review of surveillance video confirmed that Markus had not paid for several items…totaling around $165…but then, following his arrest, Markus asked the officers if he could keep the items that he DID buy…and officers agreed to put those items in the back seat of his car….and that’s when they found…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
