TGIF. No, Really.

TGIF

Yes, we’re (still) in the middle of a pandemic… but (apparently) you (still) just can’t “shelter” stupid… look at what has (still) happened to these guys and gals…

In St. Petersburg, Florida, Melinda Lynn Guerrero, 33, was arrested one recent evening… after refusing to leave a Mobil gas station here… but she provided officers with an unusual alias…

In Calmar, Alberta, Canada, Andrew Burke purchased at the Fas Gas Calmar Service gas station what turned out to be a winning lottery ticket from the Western Canada Lottery… a $3.8 million jackpot… indeed, he purchased two identical lottery tickets for that drawing… so, what do you do then?

In Albuquerque, New Mexico, Dakota Briscoe was trying to cross the border… and, as he was a suspect in a double-murder case… well, let’s just say his attempt was fraught with potential for disaster… and Dakota, knowing that, proceeded to adopt his brother’s name/identity… there was just one little problem with that approach…

In Coral Gables, Florida, a detective spotted and arrested Aaron Honaker, an alleged “serial” bank robber… as he was on his way into a bank…so, how did he enter this life of crime? Well, that’s a bit “complicated”

Near Baker City, Oregon, Oregon State Trooper Levi Macy was monitoring traffic on Interstate 84… when he got an unusual call of an incident that could be disruptive to traffic… and, sure enough, it wasn’t the kind of thing you see every day… well, at least not in Oregon… or is it?

In Smugglers’ Notch, Vermont, Braden Pitchford, 26, a truck driver from Illinois, passed a number of signs on Vermont Route 108 cautioning of the narrow road conditions ahead… Braden apparently ignored those signs… with predictable results… well, perhaps except for the size of the fine associated with his activity… Oh, and we have a picture of the aforementioned predicament…

And finally, in Vineland, New Jersey, police responded to reports of explosions in the area around 9:15 pm one recent evening… and when responding they spotted a pickup truck towing a trailer through a field… and as they approached they saw what they described as a cannon on the trailer… and fireworks in the vehicle… and in the bed of the truck, they found two mortar tubes for fireworks… and a bowling ball with a rope attached to it… but that’s not all they found….

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
