TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys… In Portland, Oregon, an as-yet-unnamed man walked into A-Z Pets, and walked out with a pet in the “s” category… in a most unusual way. In Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, 42 workers at Grissini’s Restaurant here had pooled their resources and bought $210 worth of Powerball tickets… and won… or at least thought they had… for about 20 minutes…. So what did they do in that 20 minutes? And how did they come to think they had won? In Austin, Texas, Christopher Robert Brown, 19, was charged with burglary here… what did him in was… cookies…. And no, not the computer kind. In Detroit, Michigan, an unnamed woman got up, ran some errands, drove to her mother’s home in Milford… then drove to court to pay some fines… and then got in even more trouble. In San Pedro, California, an unnamed woman walked into a Bank of America branch here about 9:00 a.m., handed a note to a teller demanding money…. The teller ignored her, so she walked away… maybe the teller got a glimpse of the weapon she was brandishing. And finally, what’s worse than finding a weasel in your salad?
