TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)… In Birmingham, Alabama, an unnamed man ran into a nearby forest trying to get away from two armed men… but then he couldn’t find his way out… and called 911 for help… so an unnamed police officer went into the woods to find him… and did… but then, guess what… In Santa Ana, California, Tracy Clapp, 36, ran a red light… struck a pedestrian… and, after briefly checking out the victim… kept driving… however, a witness took a photo of her before she left… and, with the help of police, a $20,000 reward was offered for anyone who would help them identify the woman who fled the scene… well, eventually they got lots of tips, and – with some difficulty managed to arrest Tracy… but you have to give her credit… she went to some extremes to conceal her identity… Somewhere in Russia, an unnamed man walked into a grocery store looking to buy some eggs… as he went to walk down an aisle he spotted another man… and stepped back to let the other man go ahead… except the other man didn’t budge… which led to an altercation of sorts… but, as alcohol was involved, not the kind you might expect… and yes, we have video. Near Haverhill, Massachusetts, Timothy Clough, 38, was spotted and suspected of driving under the influence… yes, he was spotted driving erratically… but that wasn’t what really gave him away… And finally, in Redmond, Washington, Ernest Price, 49, and his wife, Cynthia Cornethan, 49, and an unnamed female accomplice, strolled into a Kohl’s here with shoplifting on their minds… Ernest left the store while the two women stuffed items into shopping bags “lined with foil to defeat the security system”… the women ran through an emergency exit and were chased by the loss-prevention officer… who tried to stop them in the parking lot… then Ernest reappeared… accelerating his truck toward the officer… who jumped out of the way… but guess who didn’t… Have a great weekend, folks!
