TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)… In San Diego, California, Alvin Lee Neal, 56, walked into a Wells Fargo branch here… walked up to a teller, swiped his card in the card reader at the window… and when the teller asked how she could help Alvin, he said… “You’re being robbed. Don’t make a mistake”… and then repeated that sentiment via a note… She gave him about $500, and then he left… but he forgot one little thing… In La Vista, Nebraska, police spotted a semi… with an empty trailer in an industrial area… Turns out it had been stolen from a trucking firm lot… ostensibly with an eye toward theft of its contents… Well, they got away with it… about $120,000 worth… But I’m betting it wasn’t exactly what they had hoped to get away with… In Waterloo, Canada, an unnamed 33-year-old woman lost control of her SUV… She panicked, and hit the pedal… Unfortunately, it was the gas pedal, not the brake pedal… which propelled her up an embankment… and onto… well, see for yourself… In Gila Bend, Arizona, a Maricopa County Sheriff's deputy responded to a call at a Shell gas station here… He found a woman who was disrobed and “distraught”… But as he attempted to assist her… well, he got a big surprise… In York Haven, Pennsylvania, police pulled into a boat launch here… behind a black 2011 Subaru Outback… driven by a woman who had fled pursuit… after officers saw her “blow through” a stop sign… Rather than submit, she gunned the engine… barreling into the Susquehanna River… about 20 feet offshore… Officers tried to talk with her… but she ignored them… and continued to… well, see for yourself… Have a great weekend, folks! We’ll be closed Monday for the MLK holiday – but we’ll see you back here on Tuesday!
