TGIF… No, Really

TGIF

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember - it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Arlington, Virginia, it appears that the Arlington Transit system isn’t quite ready for driver-less buses…

Hey, the World Wide Web just celebrated its “birth”day – and here’s its father…

In Vaughan, Canada, law enforcement officials were summoned to a drive-thru fast food outlet just after midnight…there they found an unnamed 34-year-old woman in a Toyota Prius…who had pulled up to the order window…and stopped her car…did not order anything…and then refused to move her car…though she offered an unusual explanation…and yes, we have video!

In Tacoma, Washington, Jamie Bisceglia met up with some fishermen during a fishing derby…who had hooked an unusual specimen…and there being a photo contest, she saw a unique photo op…well, it turned out to be that…

In Manchester, New Hampshire, Christie Benoit, 20, called police…to report that her neighbor had assaulted her…and sure enough, when they arrived, Christie said her neighbor “had broken down her door, punched and scratched her”…and police noted that Christie had black eyes, plus scratches on her arm and leg…and her shirt had red stains on it…and then they discovered…

In Portland, Oregon, Brian Kidd, a.k.a. the Unipiper, has apparently become a thing…yes, he rides a unicycle…and yes, he does so while playing bagpipes…but that’s not the really weird thing…and yes, we have video…

In Baton Rouge, Louisiana, William Bottoms Jr.'s has been charged with murder…and attorney Jarvis Antwine hopes that the jury won’t be bothered by William’s tattoos….what could be so bad?  Thought you’d never ask…

In Green Oak Township, Michigan, an unnamed man was trying to clear weeds near a shed in a mobile home park here…with a blowtorch…guess what happened?

And finally, in Lacey Township, New Jersey, an odd tale has unfolded…and it’s hard to know which is stranger…the crime committed, the attempt to rectify that wrong…or the fate that has (apparently) befallen the criminal behind the act…

Have a GREAT weekend, folks!
