Thornburg Adds QDIA Resource for Advisors

Thornburg Investment Management announced May 26 that its QDIA Blue Book fund evaluation service is now available to advisors. This newest addition to Thornburg’s library of advisor resources will enable retirement plan advisors to meet the growing demand for helping retirement plan clients analyze a broad array of qualified default investment alternatives (QDIAs) — both off-the-shelf target date fund products and open architecture custom solutions.

Developed by Bdellium, Inc., a leading provider of retirement decision support tools that enable financial services providers to improve retirement outcomes and grow their business, the QDIA Blue Book service helps advisors provide the next generation of QDIA evaluation support to retirement plan fiduciaries, according to a statement from Thornburg.

“One of the exceptional features of the Thornburg QDIA Blue Book, which makes it stand out from other QDIA evaluation tools, is that it allows advisors to compare both off-the-shelf target date or target risk fund products and multi-manager custom solutions,” said Rocco DiBruno, managing director at Thornburg and director of the firm’s retirement group.
