SUMMIT TALK 19

Great networking, practical and insightful workshops, the industry's best party... and that’s not all! Check out these inspiring, informative, and dynamic keynotes!

Day 1

We’ll kick things off with the perennial favorite – and you’ll get the latest insider insight-filled update from Capitol Hill as we bring “the Hill” to the SUMMIT with American Retirement Association CEO Brian Graff and some special guests! We’ll be talking about the fiduciary rule (and where things stand after the 5th Circuit decision), as well as MEPs, PEPs, RESA, try to get some closure on disclosures, and much, much more!

We’ll close out the first day with an informative and dynamic session with Rachel Wilson, Head of Cybersecurity for Wealth Management Technology at Morgan Stanley. Because retirement plans are an appealing target for cybercrimes – and you don’t want yours to be. Having spent nearly 15 years at the National Security Agency (NSA), she’ll offer provocative insights on current cyber-security threats/trends, industry initiatives to protect financial data, and what advisors and your clients need to know about protecting themselves.

Day 2

Both advisors – and the plan sponsors they serve – are grappling with the challenges of a multi-generational workforce, with different perspectives, experiences and expectations. We’ll kick off the second day of the nation’s retirement plan advisor convention with insights from historian, economist and demographer Neil Howe, a renowned authority on generations and social change in America. The nation’s leading thinker on today’s generations – provides insights on who they are, what motivates them, and how they will shape America’s future, and the future of retirement.

Plan Sponsor Confidential

Retirement advisory firms come in all shapes in sizes and offer a heterogeneous set of services. However, what is common to all who use the services of an adviser or consultant is an expectation that their adviser or consultant will help them successfully fulfill their duties as a plan fiduciary; but do they? Joshua Dietch will lead a spirited discussion where our panelists will share their experiences, good and bad, with working with plan advisers and consultants: how their expectations have been met, not met, or exceeded. What lessons have they learned and what advice do they have for you, the professional plan adviser or consultant. Most importantly, do their advisers and consultants help them successfully fulfill their duties as plan fiduciaries? Come listen-to and learn-from the voice of your customer.

Day 3

We’ll wrap up the 2018 NAPA 401(k) SUMMIT on a high note, with Bestselling Author and Business Strategist Ian Altman, who will help you modernize your sales approach, and help you understand how customers make decisions, drawing on decades of experience as a former CEO of technology businesses that he founded, sold, and ultimately grew to over $1 billion in value, coupled with years of research.
