TGIF. No, Really.

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember – it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Jackson, Michigan, an as yet unnamed man walked into a Target store here… was spotted by “loss-prevention employees” slipping an item in his jacket… and called police while the shoplifting was in progress at about 2:40 p.m…. Despite that, he made his escape… What’s ironic is what he made off with

In Shamokin Dam, Pennsylvania, Yvette Vega, 42, signed herself out from a drug and alcohol treatment facility here… about 1:30 p.m. on a recent Sunday… She said she was “trying to get home”… and well, she must have been in quite a hurry to leave…

In Leeds County, Ontario, Canada, an unnamed 21-year-old woman had lost all her money at the Shorelines Thousand Islands Casino here… So who did she call? And, weirdly, it seems to have helped…

In Evart, Michigan, an unnamed man, apparently with concerns as to his continued well-being, called 911… to resolve what, as he was quickly assured, is not a police matter…

In Kenner, Louisiana, Jesse Galarza, 32, was shopping at a Burlington Coat Factory here… with what was apparently not legal tender

Looking for less stress in your life? Here’s a possible solution.

And finally, in Fort Pierce, Florida, Kennecia Posey, 26, was one of two passengers in a car that was spotted swerving in the roadway when it was stopped by police… as the officer approached the car, he detected a distinctive odor… and, following a search of the car, sure enough he found coc.aine and mari.juana in separate bags… inside a purse that Kennecia had on her lap… Now, Kennecia admitted that the latter was hers… as for the former, she had a really unique notion as to how it wound up in her purse…

Have a great weekend, folks! It’s Friday the 13th, so there’s that. But looking forward to seeing, sharing, and connecting with many of you in Nashville at the NAPA 401(k) SUMMIT!
