TGIF. No, Really.

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember – it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Billerica, Massachusetts, police have focused on a not-so-unusual happening called “Storrowing”…so, what does it involve? An 11-foot-high bridge… and a tractor-trailer truck

Near Laramie, Wyoming, Jonathon A. Miller, 29, made what was described as an “unsafe lane change”… which, you’d think, considering his cargo, he would have avoided…

In Lincoln, Nebraska, Rocky Dumais, 26, was behind the wheel of a 2005 Buick Rendezvous… registered to his mother… when the car veered off the road…“struck and uprooted a tree” in the front yard of a residence… and then came to a stop… after striking a nearby retaining wall… What led to this mishap? Apparently Rocky claimed that the car had “inoperable windshield wipers”… which led to him driving “like Ace Ventura”

In Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an unidentified woman walked into the Wyncote Beer Deli here… apparently because she had her heart set… on getting a beer… but, lacking money, and – denied a free sample by the proprietor… she threw glass toward him… and then things got weird… and yes, we have video

In Greater Manchester, UK, two as-yet-unnamed burglars broke into a bank building… and got their hands on a large diamond stored in a safe there… well, at least they thought it was a bank… and thought it was a large diamond… They did take some cash… but left behind an expensive camera as well as an empty soft drink can… Why does that matter?

In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marissa Lucero, 18, was spotted just after midnight driving 71 mph… in a 50 mph zone… So, what did Marissa do when police attempted to stop her?… Well, she sped up, of course… reaching speeds in excess of 100 mph… and veering through traffic… then struck a curb… damaged a front tire and axle… before finally coming to a stop… ah, but Marissa wasn’t done yet

Have a great weekend, folks!
