TGIF. No, Really.

If you think you’ve had a bad week, just remember – it could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)…

In Petersburg, Kentucky, Cody Lutz took advantage of the recent snowstorm to, with the help of his fiancé and soon-to-be sister-in-law, build a snowman… and not just any snowman, one that was 9 feet tall… And then some as-yet-unidentified miscreant decided to run over the aforementioned snowman… but got quite a surprise… And yes, we have pictures

In Des Moines, Iowa, Tyler Heep recently won the lottery… and decided to cash it in like any self-respecting lottery winner would… at Iowa Lottery headquarters… And there he got the royal treatment… even though his winnings weren’t exactly Powerball level… So, how much did he win?

In West Haven, Connecticut, Andre Edwards, 41, chose to rob three separate banks on three separate days… with no mask, and no apparent weapon other than the note he handed tellers… and after which he jumped into a cab and made his escape… However, he was ultimately done in by the memory of one of those cab drivers… and the manner in which he paid for a hotel room…

In Kiantone, Pennsylvania, Brian Malta, age undisclosed, was reportedly so outraged by the conduct of one of his neighbors that he took action… in a manner that could be heard for miles around…

In Lexington, Kentucky, Sunita Jairam, 48, wanted to impress upon her son the dangers of driving under the influence… and speeding… And while this is arguably not the best way to do so, it almost certainly made an impression

In Bridgeport, Connecticut, Isaias Garcia, 30, allegedly kidnapped an unnamed 21-year-old man… and demanded $800… But what’s weird is the method he used to threaten his victim…

And finally, seen that Netflix movie “Bird Box”?… Well, believe it or not, it has spurred something of a fad… and, as fads often are, it’s more than a little silly… even dangerous… See, it’s people trying to do everyday tasks while blindfolded… but you won’t believe what an unnamed 17-year-old girl in Layton, Utah decided to try… but you’d likely not be surprised at the outcome…

Have a great weekend, folks! We’ll be off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – but see you back here on Tuesday!
