TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys… In Detroit, Michigan, an unnamed 58-year-old came to an untimely end, a casualty of distracted driving… yes, a cell phone was involved… but he wasn’t texting… or talking… or, according to police, completely dressed… In Rexburg, Idaho, Leland Ryan Kaimipono Ayala-Doliente, 21, and Craig Sward Holland, 22, dialed 911 to report having spotted two men attempting to transport about 20 pounds of marijuana from California to Montana… What’s odd, of course, is that the men they were ratting on were… themselves. In Hallam, Australia, Sevdet Besim, 19, was arrested for planning a terrorist attack against police… Now while such things are never funny, his particular plot was bizarre, to say the least… Off the coast of Cornwall, UK, lifeboat volunteers, a Coastguard rescue team and rescue helicopter all responded to a call reporting a person struggling in the water… and searched for more than 90 minutes… in the dark… with the tide going out… Fortunately, the rescuers found the target of their endeavors… On the other hand… In Esbjerg, Denmark, an as yet unnamed would-be thief managed to break into a local business here, got away with a safe… but (apparently) was unable to “crack” it… so he hid the evidence of his crime in a lake here… there was just one little problem… Have a great weekend, folks!
