Lincoln Financial Distributors has appointed Tad Fifer national sales manager responsible for distribution of Lincoln’s annuity solutions, the firm announced Dec. 17.
Fifer will report to John Kennedy, who heads Lincoln’s retirement solutions distribution. He will work within the firm's RIA, managing general agent and Primerica channels. According to the firm, Fifer will focus on the expansion of new markets and maintaining key relationships throughout the Lincoln enterprise and will also contribute to the development and implementation of annuity strategies consistent with Lincoln’s short- and long-term strategic objectives.
Fifer joined Lincoln in 2005 as regional marketing director managing American Legacy variable annuity product sales in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and West Texas. In 2008, He was promoted to divisional sales manager for the independent planner channel in 2008 and led the firm’s entrance into the RIA channel in 2011. Prior to joining Lincoln, Fifer was a regional vice president at Planco, The Hartford's annuity distribution unit.
