LPL Unveils New Mobile App

LPL unveiled a new Worksite Financial Solutions mobile application during the LPL Retirement Partners Annual Conference 2014, held in Scottsdale, AZ. The app will serve as an extension of LPL’s Worksite Financial Solutions platform, providing plan participants with access to manage their retirement plan accounts directly from their mobile devices.

Using the new app, clients and plan participants will enjoy the following benefits:

  • End-to-end plan enrollment support to guide users through every phase of the retirement planning process.
  • Access to qualified LPL advisors and the Retirement Results Team for support with managing their retirement plan accounts.
  • Robust financial education tools, including calculators, tutorials, videos and articles on how to manage each phase of their financial life cycle.

The technology offers significant benefits for advisors as well, the firm said. Co-branded for each advisor’s practice, the app represents yet another tool for advisors and plan sponsors to offer their plan participants. The app will also help enhance the advisor-plan participant relationship by providing additional opportunities for communication and interaction on a regular basis.
