Recently, the Leadership Center for Investment Stewards, led by Don Trone, completed research into the 10 attributes that are shared by highly effective leaders and decision makers — with an eye out for attributes that are common to both groups.
In the latest issue of NAPA Net the Magazine, Trone lists the 10 attributes and explains how they can guide plan advisors in focusing more clearly on the dual nature of how so many advisors relate to their clients — that is, as both leader and decision maker. Going further, he places the attributes in a continuum — a three-stage model of leadership development.
