Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys…
- In Pleasant Grove, Utah, Robert Phillip Rivas, 26, and Armando Jesse Ambriz, 28, robbed the Utah Community Credit Union here. Police quickly identified the culprits, and even picked up Armando just a couple of blocks from the police station…where he “stood out like a sore thumb wearing a wig, fake beard, and fake eyebrows.” What will be interesting will be to see if Robert’s girlfriend waits for him to get out…considering his robbery “motivation.”
- In Cleveland, Ohio, Blake Maier, 30, drew the attention of passersby while he was out jogging. At 1:30 in the morning. Now, Blake was hot (85 degrees, even at that hour), and he had been drinking. The heat may have been his motivation, but it was his jogging outfit that drew attention.
- In Lincolnshire, UK, Przemyslaw Szulc, 34, had been out drinking…but he nonetheless decided to drive home. It didn’t help that he was having to navigate a long series of winding, one-way streets…in fact, his route took him by a policeman who spotted him swerving near a curb…during his 1.5 mile journey. Not completely sure what his motivation to drive was…but it would have been a lot shorter — and safer — if he had walked.
- In Longmont, Colorado, Patricia Rotter was in court on a DUI hearing, where an off-duty police officer noticed that she appeared to be intoxicated…so when she left during a court recess, he called it in, and the two officers who followed Patricia notice her swerving, and nearly hitting a curb… driving 56 mph in a 35 mph zone…so they pulled her over and, after she failed a sobriety test, arrested her. Guess what her motivation was.
- And finally, in Beaver, West Virginia, Michael Kevin Meadows, 43, walked into a pharmacy here wearing full camouflage and a paintball mask…and then started spraying pepper spray in an effort to take down employees. And then, well, this.
