401(k) Summit Update: Landrieu to Keynote NAPA PAC Lunch

Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-LA) will be keynoting the NAPA political action committee (PAC) lunch at the 2014 NAPA 401(k) Summit in New Orleans on March 24, 2014. She will talk to NAPA PAC contributors about tax reform, the Department of Labor’s upcoming fiduciary regulations and other issues currently before Congress. Landrieu currently chairs the Senate Small Business Committee and the Appropriations Subcommittee on Homeland Security, and serves on the Senate’s Energy and Natural Resources and Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs committees as well. The nonpartisan Congress.org has ranked Landrieu as the 10th most effective legislator in the Senate. She is considered one of the leading moderates in the U.S. Senate — a classic southern Democrat who votes as easily with the Republicans as she does with her own party. Landrieu was first elected to the Louisiana state legislature at the age of 23. After serving eight years as a state representative and two terms as state treasurer, in 1996 she became the first woman from Louisiana elected to a full term in the U.S. Senate. For more information, please contact NAPA PAC’s Alisa Wolking at [email protected]. Jim Dornan is the Political Director of ASPPA and NAPA.
