With the 2014 NAPA 401(k) Summit now just over five months away, the pieces of what promises to be a standout program are starting to fall into place. The latest news: two influential congressional insiders — Rep. Charles Boustany (R-LA) and former congressman Jim McCrery (R-LA) have signed on as speakers.
Boustany and McCrery have a front row seat to all that is happening on Capitol Hill. McCrery is a former House Ways and Means Committee member and Rep. Boustany currently sits on that committee, which has jurisdiction over tax reform.
The two will engage in a wide-ranging discussion on what has happened and what will happen on Capitol Hill on issues of importance and of concern to retirement advisors. It promises to be a great opportunity to become “in-the-know” on recent legislative and regulatory developments and how they will affect you.
