Burlie to Lead The Standard’s Retirement Plan Sales

Portland-based The Standard announced July 22 that Jason Burlie has been named Vice President and Head of Sales for Retirement Plans, with direct responsibility for the firm’s retirement plans distribution and market development strategies. 

Burlie will also be responsible for designing and delivering customer-driven solutions that accelerate growth, according to the announcement. 

Prior to joining The Standard, Burlie served in various sales leadership roles at Prudential Financial and most recently was head of retirement plans sales and strategic relationships. 

“Jason is a proven executive and strategic sales leader,” said A.J. Ijaz, Vice President of the Asset Management Group at The Standard. “His inclusive leadership style and emphasis on building organizational capabilities that drive growth and enhance advisor and customer experiences make him the right leader at the right time for our sales organization.” 

Burlie holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Southern California.
