Toni Brown and John Doyle have joined the Los Angeles-based money manager Capital Group as senior DC specialists — newly created positions at the firm — according to Mark Steburg, SVP of business development. Brown is based in San Francisco and will focus on the West Coast business, while Doyle will represent the East Coast and be based in New York.
Brown and Doyle will be meeting with plan sponsors, advisors and consultants to help with the realms of legislation and plan construction, as well as representing Capital Group at conferences and developing new products and solutions, Steburg and company spokesman Chuck Freadhoff said. The hires are part of an ongoing initiative to bolster Capital Group's retirement practice, including the addition of more retirement plan sales professionals, more advisor-centric tools, and the firm's “DC Insights” program that focuses on retirement outcomes for participants.
