Effective Nov. 15, 2021, AimPoint Pension is joining The Cerrado Group.
According to a press release, AimPoint brings a strong presence in the Southeast and MidAtlantic states to the group’s expanding national presence.
The addition of AimPoint brings the Cerrado Group membership to 12 firms—firms that are said to have a footprint that covers more than 75% of the nation and service retirement plans of all types, and that total more $31 billion in assets under management in more than 15,000 plans.
The Cerrado Group was founded by nine TPA consulting firms. Members of this 501(c)(6) trade association remain independent regional operators, while actively combining their vast resources to fully serve the retirement plan industry at large. The firm’s Executive Director is Ann Slotwinski, former head of TPA Services at John Hancock. The partnership is named after Brazil’s massive Cerrado savannah, one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet.
