Changes in Leadership at LeafHouse

The Austin-based firm that specializes in investment solutions for the retirement plan space has announced a number of senior leadership changes, including that cofounder Todd Kading will serve as the new Chief Executive Officer effective Jan. 20, 2022.

In addition, cofounder Neal Weaver will assume the role of President, while Dallas Villarreal has been named as the new Chief Compliance Officer, according to the announcement.

In the CEO role, Kading will lead the development and execution of long-term strategies, including driving distribution initiatives to revitalize the retirement space. “I can’t wait to see what the year will bring and how the firm’s partners and LeafHouse team will increase innovation, growth and value creation together,” Kading stated.

As President, Weaver will concentrate on the firm’s sales organization to deliver suitable investment solutions for employers and employees. “It has been my honor and privilege to be in the CEO role for LeafHouse and I support this transition,” Weaver stated. “I am excited to focus and dedicate energy to the sales team and drive further enhancements so our clients can reach their long-term financial goals.”

Villarreal, as the new CCO and Senior Operations Manager, will manage compliance programs, and lead operational and onboarding processes to serve clients and external partners engaging LeafHouse for investment fiduciary services. She will report to Chief Operating Officer Chad Brown.

As of Sept. 30, 2021, the firm reported overseeing $15 billion in AUM.
