Gearing Up for ‘No Advice’ Fight, NAPA DC Fly-In Forum Moves to July

With the Department of Labor’s “no advice” regulation rumored to be unveiled shortly, NAPA is moving up the dates for this year’s annual DC Fly-In Forum to July 21 and 22.

Previously the NAPA DC Fly-In has been held in the fall. However, faced with the prospects of a sweeping but flawed regulation from the DOL — which could even prohibit existing plan providers and advisors from helping participants make critical plan rollover decisions, while at the same time effectively leaving them vulnerable to the solicitations of others outside the plan who often offer more expensive options — NAPA leadership believes it is imperative to move quickly in bringing together the industry’s leading retirement advisor voices to Capitol Hill while Congress is still in session, and before the worst of the “no advice” regulation has a chance to take hold.

Make no mistake. You can make a difference.

Last year more than 150 of the nation’s elite advisors came together to hear from, and talk to, the nation’s leading policy makers.

Mark your calendars now to attend what has quickly become the forum for retirement plan advisors who want to have a voice on Capitol Hill: the NAPA DC Fly-In Forum.

When: July 21 and July 22

Where: The W Hotel, Washington, DC

Registration will open soon; more information about the NAPA DC Fly-In Forum is available at http://napadcflyin.org/.
