Last Chance to Vote on NAPA 401(k) Summit Topics!

Conferences & Events

Nearly 5,300 votes later – the jostling of topic preferences continues, with a slew of new topics on the list to consider – and several new to the top 10! Voting closes this weekend!

After a month of input from NAPA Nation, the top 10 topics are:

  1. Measuring retirement plan success – how advisors are quantifying impact of their work beyond investments and fees (still #1 – having confronted alternative topics in nearly 100 “contests”)
  2. What plan sponsors really think (back at #2 after a week at #3)
  3. Asset allocation funds vs. target date funds – should your plan have both? (brand new to the top 10)
  4. The future is female, are you prepared? (another brand new to the top 10)
  5. Disruptive forces in the retirement space (brand new last week – holding steady at #5 after 124 “contests”)
  6. Coupling education with plan design to drive improved participant outcomes (not a new topic, but new to the top 10!)
  7. Plan health metrics, retirement readiness analytics, and benchmarking that help advisors shape plan design and improve their value prop (slipping back from #7 a week ago, after climbing up from #8 the week prior to that)
  8. Demographic dynamics – how your practice needs to change (not new to the list, but a new top 10 entrant!)
  9. DC industry themes to watch (new last week, slipping from its #7 placement following 102 “contests”)
  10. Target-date funds – the good, the bad, the ugly (holding steady at #10)

What’s Next?

Like those? Want to see something else? Wonder why your choice didn’t make the cut? There’s still time to have an impact.

Our unique online voting tool will bring up two different session topics. You pick the one of the two that you like best – and then you get to pick between another two – and so on.

Don’t like either one? Say so. Got another idea? Add it. Every time you suggest an idea, it’s added to the pool of ideas that others vote on (but note – it won’t show up immediately, and if you add it more than once – well, it won’t be added but a single time).

But beware: This can be addictive.
