NAPA 401(k) Topics Continue Tussle for Top 10 Tier

Conferences & Events

We’ve just crossed the 5,000-vote mark on potential topics for the NAPA 401(k) Summit – and there are three new Top 10 Topics!

At the end of Week #3, the top trending topics now are:

  1. Measuring retirement plan success – how are advisors quantifying impact of their work beyond investments and fees? (holding fast at #1)
  2. Incorporating an ESG option into the fund lineup (brand new – soaring to #2 in its first week)
  3. What plan sponsors really think (slipping from #2 last week)
  4. Excessive fee suit successfully defended in court trial (holding tight at #4 from last week, its first week in the pool)
  5. Disruptive forces in the retirement space (brand new topic!)
  6. Plan health metrics, retirement readiness analytics, and benchmarking that help advisors shape plan design and improve their value prop (a slight bump from #8 last week)
  7. DC industry themes to watch (“new” voter submission)
  8. If I knew then what I know now – insider tips (an original entry, vaulting into the top 10 for the first time)
  9. Why “pensionizing” a 401(k) plan is the future of retirement plans (slipping from #7 a week ago)
  10. Target-date funds – the good, the bad and the ugly (marking a return to the top 10)

Meanwhile, “financial wellness – how it can differentiate your practice” and “HSAs, that other retirement bucket” – both new topics that “crashed” the Top 10 last week – slipped out of the Top 10 this week.

What’s Next?

Like those? Want to see something else? Wonder why your choice didn’t make the cut? There’s still time to have an impact.

Our unique online voting tool will bring up two different session topics. You pick the one of the two that you like best – and then you get to pick between another two – and so on.

Don’t like either one? Say so. Got another idea? Add it. Every time you suggest an idea, it’s added to the pool of ideas that others vote on (but note – it won’t show up immediately, and if you add it more than once – well, it won’t be added but a single time).

But beware: This can be addictive.
