NAPA Net Committee: Call for Advisors

The heart and soul of thriving associations like NAPA and ASPPA are our volunteers. Experienced practitioners enjoy giving back to a profession that has been so rewarding personally and financially, while younger ones want to find ways to learn and grown through their participation. While NAPA Net has enjoyed great success in a relatively short time, in order for it to grow to its full potential and stay relevant given our limited resources compared with large for-profit media companies, we need to tap our members to help — especially advisors.

So led by experienced and respected Morgan Stanley advisor Sam Brandwein, NAPA is in the process of forming an advisory committee.

To stay true to its vision of connecting and informing advisors, we need advisors to participate on the committee. This includes a one-hour monthly call as well as in-person meetings at the NAPA 401(k) Summit annually. Not to exclude the provider community, whose voice and support are needed, but we have received interest from many providers already — which is why the call for advisors is important. So if you have an interest in joining the NAPA Net Committee as an advisor or provider, please contact managing editor John Ortman at [email protected]. If you can’t commit long term, we also welcome posts and articles. And we do appreciate all your comments on the portal and on NAPA’s LinkedIn page.
