NAPA Net the Magazine: in the Mail!

NAPA members, keep an eye on your mailbox next week — you should receive the inaugural issue of NAPA Net the Magazine soon.

Why are we launching a magazine at a time when so many are ceasing publication? One thing the NAPA Net Daily demonstrated is that, for busy plan advisors, focusing on important news and trends in a format that can be digested quickly — highlighting what’s important about the news, trend or web commentary and how advisors can use it — is a valued service. But there are important issues that deserve more in-depth discussions — issues that NAPA and its deep bench of industry thought leaders are well positioned to uncover and interpret. A magazine format will allow us to delve deeper into those key issues.

For example, the cover story of our first issue, “DC Power Hitters,” goes to the essence of why NAPA was created — highlighting the major issues that legislators and regulators in Washington are tackling that could dramatically alter the industry landscape and affect every plan advisor’s business.

You’ll also find must-read feature articles on hot topics in the industry. And our columnists include some of the industry’s best-known thought leaders: Nevin Adams, Warren Cormier, Marcy Supovitz, David Levine, Brian Graff, Jerry Bramlett, Steff Chalk, Don Trone and editor in chief Fred Barstein.

We’ll post a pdf of the inaugural Fall 2013 issue on NAPA Net late next week. You can read more about the magazine here. In the meantime, watch your mailbox — and let us know what you think of the newest addition to the NAPA Net family!
