ZUNA, LLC, an RIA and business consulting firm headquartered in Portland, OR, announced Jan. 8 that it has officially launched. The firm has attracted some of the nation’s top retirement industry veterans:
- Katrina Bell, CIMA®, will lead the RIA practice at ZUNA and serve as chair of the firm’s Investment Committee.
- Bonnie Treichel, JD, a well-known ERISA attorney, will assist clients with technical and compliance-related matters.
- Carrie Hepburn, AIF, will lead ZUNA’s operational activities.
- Aalok Shah, CFP®, will focus on clients’ personal wealth management needs, help institutional clients with executive benefits and employee education, and manage ZUNA’s investment research process.
- Brian Miller, CPA, will assist clients with payroll and tax consulting services, and will also work with Shah to run the group’s executive benefits services.
Greg Koleno, a well-known industry veteran, has also joined the group. He will focus his attention on business consulting, including issues and opportunities related to mergers and acquisitions. “ZUNA is well positioned to transform the way operational service providers interact with clients,” says Koleno. “The current siloed approach is broken. Companies want and need a holistic solution that drives collaboration between these providers and a single source to automate and monitor the process and performance metrics.”
