Prater to Speak at NAPA PAC Event at Fly-In Forum

Mark Prater, Minority Chief Tax Counsel and Deputy Staff Director of the Senate Finance Committee, will speak at the annual NAPA PAC Fly-In Forum dinner event next month. The veteran Senate aide has more than two decades of experience working on the Senate Finance Committee.

Prater’s expertise on federal tax policy will offer attendees key insight and behind-the-scenes information on how tax policy is created and shaped. He will speak about the prospects for federal tax reform next year and other issues of importance to NAPA PAC members.

This event is just one of many meetings NAPA PAC is hosting around the country and in Washington, D.C. to connect NAPA members with federal officials to ensure that our congressional representatives understand the importance of America’s employer-based retirement system.

Other key policymakers in Washington, including Sen. Orrin Hatch, the Ranking Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, and SEC Commissioner Michael S. Piwowar, will also be speaking at this year’s NAPA D.C. Fly-In Forum to share insight on issues critical to the industry.

The Forum is premier event for elite advisors who want to influence the debate in Washington and talk about federal retirement policy. The 2014 Forum will take place on Sept. 30-Oct. 1.

Alisa Wolking is NAPA’s Grassroots Advocacy Manager.
