Speaker of the House Headlines 2015 NAPA DC Fly-In Forum

Speaker of the House John Boehner will keynote the 2015 NAPA DC Fly-In Forum, July 21-22 in Washington, D.C.

First elected to Congress in 1990, Boehner was a leading proponent of expanding investment advice in workplace retirement plans in the late 1990s. From 2001 to 2006, he served as chairman of the House Committee on Education & the Workforce, which, among other things, had jurisdiction over pension issues in the House during the passage of the Pension Protection Act, the most sweeping reform of America's pension laws in more than 30 years.

He was elected by his colleagues to serve as House Majority Leader that same year, and in 2007, he began his tenure as House Republican Leader. On Jan. 5, 2011, he swore in the 112th Congress as the 53rd Speaker of the House, a position he was re-elected to in 2013 and again in 2015.

Last year more than 150 of the nation’s elite advisors came together to hear from, and talk to, the nation’s leading policy makers. However, with the Department of Labor’s “no advice” regulation rumored to be unveiled shortly, NAPA is moving up the dates for this year’s annual DC Fly-In Forum to July 21 and 22.

Applications from qualified plan advisors to attend this year’s Fly-In Forum will be accepted until the limit on Forum delegates is reached — so don’t delay.

Only a limited number of delegates are accepted — so complete your delegate application today at http://napadcflyin.org/.
