Special Alert for NAPA Members in NYC Area

Minnesota Congressman John Kline, Chairman of the House Education and Workforce Committee, will be in New York City for a breakfast meeting including NAPA members on Tuesday, June 11 at 8:30 a.m.

NAPA members have been invited by Rep. Kline’s office to discuss the soon-to-be-released definition of fiduciary regulations. As we’ve reported on NAPA Net, the fiduciary regulations could have a devastating impact on advisors’ relationships with their clients.

This is a great opportunity to share our concerns about the fiduciary definition rule with a key member of Congress. Rep. Kline is the head of the committee in the U.S. House of Representatives that will deal directly with the fiduciary rules. He is also one of our strongest advocates in Congress.

The meeting will be held at the offices of Allianz Global Investors, 1633 Broadway (between 50th and 51st Streets) on the 42nd floor.

If you’d like to attend this special event, please RSVP to Alisa Wolking with your name, title, and company at [email protected]. Attendance will be limited to the first 10 NAPA members who respond, on a first-come, first-served basis.
