SUMMIT INSIDER: NAPA 401(k) Summit Keynote Speaker Unveiled

Conferences & Events

We’ve announced the first of our general session speakers for the NAPA 401(k) Summit!

We’ll “kick” things off on Day 2 of the NAPA 401(k) Summit (April 3-5, 2022) with the inspiring story of NFL Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly.

Kelly exemplifies what toughness is all about. From a young boy in the small town of East Brady, PA to his days as a star quarterback in the National Football League, Jim has shown courage to overcome every obstacle he has faced. He led the way for other quarterbacks at Miami University—what became known as “Quarterback U.” Others who followed in his footsteps: Bernie Kosar, Vinny Testaverde and Steve Walsh. From Miami, Jim Kelly led the Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances and established himself as one of the all-time greatest quarterbacks to play the game. No wonder he made it into the NFL Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility!

But nothing could prepare Jim and his wife, Jill for the battle that they would face a few months after Jim’s retirement in January 1997.

Kelly has faced success, adversity, joy and sorrow. But he always maintained an appreciation for life, which fueled his passion for faith, family, friends and fans. That’s why Kelly hopes his keynote address and story can inspire everyone to make a difference—today!—for someone who is fighting for their tomorrow.

It’s an inspiring story you won’t want to miss! It’s all part of the Advisor Experience at the nation’s retirement plan advisor convention!
