Take the First NAPA Research Survey, Get a Free Copy of the Findings

Industry Trends and Research

The National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) launched the NAPA Advisor Research Institute (NARI), a new and unique research arm dedicated to the retirement plan advisor industry launched earlier this year.

This is a friendly reminder that responses to the first NARI Survey are due Tuesday, Dec. 12.

NARI is a strategic partnership between NAPA and the Retirement Leadership Forum (RLF) with a mission to provide new insights into retirement-focused advisor practices and their product and service preferences.

Started in 2017, the Retirement Leadership Forum creates high-quality research and events and counts many of the top recordkeepers, asset managers, and advisory firms among its members.

Participating advisors will receive a copy of the key findings, gain insights into best practices of the industry’s leading advisors, and learn answers to key questions such as:

  • What do other top NAPA advisors view as the biggest growth opportunity for their practice? What are average growth rates and revenue breakdowns by product?
  • How are leading practices staffed and what are key areas for hiring in 2024?
  • How the convergence of retirement and wealth fits into advisors' value proposition and growth plans?

And those are just a few of the insights this research will provide. We look forward to receiving your response and appreciate your support.

Research and insights on retirement plan advisors are surprisingly scarce. Industry leaders often rely on speculation and anecdotes as they work to understand the advisor community. To address this knowledge gap, NAPA — in partnership with the RLF—formed NARI.

NARI, a subscription-based service, will deliver research reports quarterly—February, April, September, and November—beginning in 2024. NARI will augment the reports with a “voice of the advisor” newsletter sharing early research insights.
