Team Building, Balancing Demands and a Better Team Focus?

We’ve gotten more than 6,000 votes to date on proposed topics for the 2024 NAPA 401(k) Summit—in three major categories. And there’s been a LOT of jostling in the rankings!

Lest you forget—the 2024 NAPA 401(k) Summit will be held April 7-9 in Nashville, Tennessee. You’ll definitely want to mark your calendars for this one! As for the agenda for that Summit—well, now that starts with YOU—you help set the framework for the NAPA 401(k) Summit agenda—by voting on the topic(s) you’d most like to be on that agenda!

Team Building

In its first week of “competition,” the team building category got more than 300 votes and the top 10 prospective topics at this point are:

  4. Optimal incentive and compensation structures tied to both sales and service success (growing and protecting revenue—everyone has a role!)

We’ve just closed out the second week of voting on topics in the “Products” category, and with (now) nearly 600 votes—and nearly half NEW to the top 10, the top 10 topics (now) are:

  1. The rollover. How do we reconcile the fact that everyone wants them and how will the industry work together in some fashion to accomplish (up from #2 last week).
  2. AI U & Me: What will AI replace or enhance? Will you be able to adapt? (surging from #9 last week)
  3. Managed Accounts—Just an Expensive Target-Date Fund? (climbing in to the top 10 for the first time!)
  4. Retirement Income Solutions—How to compare (up from #10)
  5. Retirement income developments—Everything from how to determine if retirement income should be added to a plan, selection and monitoring … (another new entrant to the top 10!)
  6. Rollover Realities (dropping from #1)
  7. Provider fee surveys—a session discussing average fees by providers and benchmarking (down from #5)
  8. Medicare—the Elephant in the Room of Retirement Planning (new to the top 10!)
  9. Stable Value vs. Money Market (new to the top 10!)        
  10. In-plan income solutions are increasing, and it is an alphabet soup understanding the various products… what will the evolution look like? (another new one to the top 10!)

In its third week in the “ring”—and now with more than 5,000 votes cast—the new top 10 contenders are:
