TGIF!

Think you’ve had a bad week?  It could have been worse.  Check out what happened to these guys…

In Omaha, Nebraska, an unnamed would-be carjacker flashed a gun at a female driver here, pulled her out of her car, and climbed in behind the wheel, or rather, he tried to.  You’ll never guess what thwarted his attempt.

In Stone Harbor, New Jersey, Shelly Santos, 47, and Carissa Jannotti, 18, recently discovered not only why you shouldn’t shoplift, but why you should feed the meter.

Near Langley Green, England, Robert Conn, 35, had been arrested for theft, charged with stealing a Philips electric razor, a pork pie and Galaxy chocolate milkshake, and for assault occasioning actual bodily harm from when he resisted his arrest. So Robert, who during his attempted evasion of the arrest broke both ankles, was being wheeled into court for his trial when he made yet another escape attempt

In New York City, Joe Gibbons, 61, a former art lecturer at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology admitted to robbing a Capital One Bank of $1,000 on Dec. 31, 2014.  But you won’t believe what he claimed was his motivation.

In Stansted, England, James McElvar, 19, decided he had an easy way to get around those annoying baggage limits on airlines: he opted to wear it all — all six t-shirts, four jumpers, three pairs of jeans, two pairs of jogging bottoms, two jackets and two hats of them…and then things got weird.

In Bendigo, Australia, Daniel Damon, 25, didn’t care for the picture that police used on their Facebook page to launch a public appeal for information on his whereabouts — so he posted on their Facebook page a request that they change it.  Well, now he has his wish.

In Ebbw Vale, Wales, an unnamed young man thought it would be fun to jump on a trampoline...from a second floor window…and he filmed it.  You know you want to watch.

And finally, in Fort Morgan, Colorado, Jonathan Potzler, 28, called 911 one Saturday afternoon recently, saying he was in the Walmart parking lot and a woman he didn't know refused to get out of his car — and for reasons, unknown, he also told the dispatcher he believed he was in Arizona; when police arrived, they found the woman was Jazmin Elguezabal, 21, who said she was Jonathan’s cousin…but that wasn’t all they found.

Have a great weekend, folks!
