TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys… In Bowling Green, Missouri, Bettye Wilson, 66, was visiting an associate-resident at the state prison here… she had planned to smuggle some heroin to that associate… planned to do so by passing heroin balloons from her mouth to that associate via a kiss… and then this happened… In Branchburg, New Jersey, Scott Esser, 42, accidentally dialed 911 on his cell phone… while that cell phone was in his pocket… as it turned out, Scott wasn’t at home at the time… but by listening to the conversation the 911 dispatcher was able to locate him… and learn about his future movements…  In Wichita, Kansas, an unnamed couple went to Midwest Kia here to purchase a car… and became angry when they were denied financing… however, this is not the way to overcome that difficulty… In New Orleans, Louisiana, Kaleb Clement, 23, attracted the attention of police when he drove his blue Dodge Challenger off the road, and through fences… yes, alcohol was involved, but what really drew their attention is what was on the other side of the fences he drove through… And finally, in Washington, D.C., five employees (Lynette Mundey, Barbara Rowley, Jamilah Reid, Tracy Williams and Charlene Savoy), of the Government Accountability Office (GAO), and one GAO employee’s spouse (James Pickney) were indicted for fraud… the fraud involved misreporting their income (some claimed to have not just low income, but no income, though they were full-time employees at GAO)… but you’ll never guess how they sought to benefit from the misreporting… Have a great weekend, folks!
