TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse (and hey, it’s Friday the 13th!). Check out what happened to these guys… In Tavares, Florida, William Bechard, was doing yard work…when the unexpected occurred…and I do mean the really unexpected… In Pleasant Grove, Alabama, a patrol officer answered a call of a stolen vehicle by OnStar…and showed up at the address of one Gerand Ratcliff, 45…where they observed evidence of narcotics at the house…got a search warrant…and returned to find over four pounds of cocaine and nearly $250,000 in cash…so what did Gerand do to make the situation even worse? In Baltimore, Maryland, an unnamed woman reported that her car was stolen…and then told police that it had been stolen with her two-year-old son in the back seat… well, as it turned out, police didn’t find the car…but did find out that the two-year-old son was at daycare, not in the back seat…and that the mother had told police that her son was in the car because she wanted them to work really hard to find the car…guess what the mother found out? In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Officer Michael Szeliga of the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Department showed up to a Mothers Against Drunk Driving conference…to receive an award…for making over 100 DUI arrests…apparently he was one short… In Meridian, Mississippi, a sinkhole opened up in the parking lot of the new IHOP restaurant here…guess how many cars were swallowed? I’m not sure which is worse — that we have a Guinness World Record for such things…or that it has just been broken… And finally, here’s a “drunk map” of the home…that reveals where you’re most likely to get injured…when you’re…you know…and where you’re most likely to get injured…when you’re…you know. Have a great weekend, folks!
