TGIF. No, Really.

Think you’ve had a bad week? It could have been worse. Check out what happened to these guys (and gals)… In Deal, New Jersey, Kenneth Burke, 46, and Timothy Foote, 38, called for a taxi to a home here… instructed the taxi driver to wait outside before they returned a short time later… carrying a television set and some liquor bottles… then they asked to be driven to an apartment in Asbury Park… Now, at this point it might be obvious that they were engaged in some mischief… but they might have gotten away with it, had they not made a fundamental mistake… Near Columbia, Tennessee, Kyle Watson was with his wife and two kids on a hike when his wife stepped over what was believed to be a timber rattlesnake… at which point Kyle picked up a boat oar and “severed the snake's head”… at which point Kyle’s kids expressed an interest in having a closer look… so Kyle went to pick up the snake’s body… and got the surprise of his life… In Sydney, Australia, an intruder broke into the home of an unnamed 68-year-old man and his wife… taking a large amount of cash, a handbag and car keys… then went to the garage of the home and entered the couple's vehicle, a Nissan X-Trail… started the car, attempted to reverse out of the garage… and was then confronted by the home owner… causing him to crash the vehicle into a fence… whereupon he got out of the car and jumped a fence… and then, the 68-year-old homeowner made his point in a very special way… In Jersey City, New Jersey, Andrew L. Stephens, 70, drew the attention of police after they found that he and an unnamed 49-year-old had been involved in an altercation about money… which allegedly resulted in Andrew’s stabbing of the unnamed 49-year-old… That said, it wasn’t hard for the police to catch up to Andrew… And finally, in Alexandria, Minnesota, police and fire crews arrived to deal with a fire alarm and visible smoke at an apartment here… spotted a small fire burning on the living room floor… and quickly put out the fire using an extinguisher… then spotted Jennifer Hillard, 35, apparently the apartment tenant, dropping out of the ceiling… into an adjoining laundry room… where she was found with a methamphetamine pipe and lighter in her possession... put under arrest… and then things got really interesting… Have a great weekend, folks!
